After I broke my gas engine, that bike got converted back into my commuter. Unfortunately because of the weight and frame shape, it was losing its charm. Then I found this on Craigslist. It is an American made Nishiki Cascade. I got it because of the atypical frame and short of a few blemishes was an almost new bike for a very low cost.

I've gotten this thing built and rolling great (just did 6 mile ride and barely broke a sweat cruising at a good clip in top gear) and typical me, the design gears are starting to turn. It has been a great bike for the last month or so but I keep having those "What if" moments.
My "what if" for this bike would be to have some kind of electric rear hub motor with a center mounted battery capable of the low 20s. Unfortunately I couldn't spend more than a couple hundred right now so I won't be building any time soon.
But still, tell that wouldn't look cool!
