SoCal Race Event Sat June 18th at Willow Springs Raceway-2011

I am going to try and put together a china kit for the event, question do I have to have the pedal crank still on the bike or would it be ok to throw it away. I have not been to Willow Springs in at least 40 years. I will follow the thread and see if I can make it. Have fun, Dave

You just missed a good one at El Dorado park.....
Just show up, crank or no crank, there's not going to be a lot of rules.
OK to come and just cruise on the track with no pressure, you don't
have to be a racer.

I need to get on a mailing list or something, been busy lately and need to have some fun. I would like to see the guys in my neck of the woods. Every once in a while ill see an MB but not often. I used to work in the park shop at El Dorado, till they closed it. Im now at the waterfront. Have fun, Dave

I have the date circled on my calendar and see what I can do.

I might bring my grandson. He wants to race real bad, but he weighs 260 or so. The bike still pulls him okay and tops out around 45. Should be a fun day no matter what happens. Looks like you're getting a lot of entries.
45 mph would be fast for the straights on that Go Kart track.

The yellow bike is a 5hp that he'll probably be riding. The 8hp is not ready. It's rideable but the frame is just tacked together and I still have a lot of finish work to do. What day are you going to the track? I'm working all week.
Can't get any Go Kart track time on the weekend so will be going
next Thursday or Friday. Take a day off work, you gotta have some sick or
"personal" days. LOL
Just 50 more days to the event....

Need a ride from Ontario Calif. Anyone in the Area? Of course will chip in for Gas.
Just don't think my old bones will do well in the back of a truck.
Going to try and bring the boxed bike as luggage from AZ and just buy a tank there.
