Your new motor kit needed a new CDI?
Actually no. I took the new cdi and tossed in the pile of other new cdi's I'm collecting. I'm assuming all the cdi's are the same, so I'm just using a used one that had a spark plug wire that was long enough. Now that it's under suspicion, I changed it back to the original 2 year old cdi that came with the 48cc kit, because it was working good when I removed it. All I did to it was add a longer wire.
I am using the new magneto coil though.
I guess there's a slight chance I might have harmed the cdi the other day by forgetting to keep the kill button pressed when I was checking the compression.
