I was riding my motorbike today and I was riding for nearly an hour when my motor chain had begun to slip and hit my spokes on my rear tire and busted about 5 or so spokes. I know im going to buy a new rim but does anybody have any suggestions on what I should to to keep this from happening again.
Ive heard of half links so I don't have to use the tensioner Ive also seen the spring tensioners and such alike but I don't know what is a for sure guarantee . But I would like to keep this on a low budget as possible. Thanks all:-||

OKC, OK
If your chain was loose enough to come off/slip as you call it, half links are of no use.

Remove enough links so the chain has just a bit of 'flex' in it and use one of these....

As long as everything is aligned, you should have zero issues with this setup as long as you keep your chain lubed.

Good luck!!
