thanks. Ya just picked up yesterday after i gave them a second chance to do correctly and it rides smoother but steering is off and welds look like crap so i wrote nasty email. demanded $2200 back and disputed $2045 worth of debit card payments which is all i paid on debit card. what a learning experience. you think your going to professionals.

Ya Blake when you came by and I looked under the truck I said to myself...wtf...my kid liked the way it looked but I said that truck is gona get someone hurt. Those were some of the worst welds I have ever seen and to factor in this was the steering part of the truck...I hope you get it all taken care of...

Its truely sad some shops know exactly whats involved in doing that job, I have fitted nova engine cradles to mercs, four linked old pickups even set a 52 chevy p/u on a s/10 frame just to name a few ,then you have the fly by night guys that are able to talk a good line, blow a lot of smoke an then screw a customer an screw up their vehicle . I as a shop owner feel your pain , only from the other side of the fence I have fixed too many that others who say " we can do it no problem" an done it wrong .

thanks Jeff......Ya. it looks a **** of alot better than when you saw it front wheels line up with the rear, camber is nowhere near as bad, it rides alot smoother. they cleaned up alot of the welds.....BUT steering is funky and its just not up to my standards or anyone on the HAMB's standards either. We will see what happens.

Looks way better...are you happy with it now...

Not really a ford fan at all but that is a cool ride Blake
Definitely way better nowhere near happy. I have just threatened them with a refund $2045 less than but near half or see you in court. So we will see what happens. I feel I have a great case.

Below is what a professionalist wrote. All I need is some written affidavit from several qualified guys and it should be a slam dunk. Ontop of countless other things I have against them

wow.
total f---ed up.
worthless work.
obvious the burns on the seat are from a halogen lamp.mebbe he shoulda used it under the truck instead.could have seen that **** from a mile away.
if i was inspecting this truck (i'm a licenced automotive tech, and certified to do safety inspections)i would have condemned it before i even hoisted it to inspect it.
sorry for all your pain,man.

I just wrote you back on the site. I couldn't figure out where the burn marks came from

It looks a lil better ,I still would not trust it ,all those welds should have been ground out an re welded .YOU BETTER address those hacked up tie rods, in my opinion under NO circumstances are they safe an in no state are you allowed to weld on to them , just for your info , those are DANGEROUS an can kill you if a weld fails .

in regards to the burns on the seat, what are they doing with that kind of light inside a vehicle anyway?
dont tell me they dont even have a decent trouble light.
mig welder musta been from harbour freight ,too.

i have a habit of looking what sort of tooling is in any shop, and look at present work going on.
dirty shop with next to nothing for tools would make me suspicious.

Blake... I may have someone local that could clean all that up and make it right. Let me know and I can take you by his place. He builds top notch off road race cars.
Hey Jeff,

I may take you up on that. Right now I'm going back and fourth with the shop and hoping they return the $2000 plus I asked for back which is less than half the total job price so it's more than fair. If they return it I will get it fixed immediately. If they DO NOT return then I will be going the law suit route which will require me to get the suspension analyzed by certified suspension specialists to get rotten affidavits. So until I know how this is ending with them I don't want to touch anything just in case.

I really Appreciate the offer and will let you know once this is resolved.

Sunday after the marina del Rey meet up at the Starbucks I'm going to head to the concourse de elegance on rodeo drive with my cousin and fiancé ...looks really cool. Here is a link if you or you and your son are at all interested

Thanks again

If your bored and want to read my thread it's very interesting and some of you as fabricators and metal workers may enjoy seeing how this shop jacked my suspension up it gets good because guy who built suspension responded and everyone bashed him a lot of great drama

Holy Futher Muck! I have to agree: $2045 was about $2044.99 too much to pay for work like that. Where's their pride? Don't they care if that s**t breaks and you could wreck & die? Glad they took care of it for you but, jeez, that's scary to look at.
