They aren't reliable. I broke two yesterday. The first had the center metal section that protrudes which the rope pully spins around snapped at the base leaving a nice hole in the cover. The second one had spring break on 3rd start attempt. I was able to rewind the spring and salvage it. Do not use factory rope, it breakes very easy.

Try the upgraded one Boygofast sells. Although it has a steel cable instead of a rope, it's much heavier duty and can be fitted with a rope also. Instead of the plastic thing that the spring sits in, the upgrade is all metal.

I've used the original one until it blew apart and melted all the plastic inside of it, but this new one is the ticket.....so far!
