someone said not to wrap the chainstay with rubber, i got well over 200 miles since i put the rubber on the tube and it has'nt moved, sorry but mine works great.

Hey Dan1150.....They have ben puting handlebar grips on metal handlebars for well over 100 years. Just put the split seam on the bottom so there is no chance that it would hold water.

thank you crash vester, thats basically what i did, but instead of a hangrip i used some rubber i got from work. it's really strong and sticky. i'm not some one that's inexperienced i've done some fabrication work before. and like i said before my tensioner does not move. but i want to thank everyone for the help anyway.
