I studded a Tioga Psycho II tire for winter and here is a pic of my winter bike with my Island Hopper American Chain Drive Bridgestone. Tioga Tires are also Bridgestone . Anyway, it cost a bit , but with a little work , I got what I wanted and needed. It has been said that the Tioga Psycho is the first choice among many cyclists . The studs come from Maxigrip, the tire came from Niagra. The motor, mounted on this bike right now has been running me for 7 years and then some.

I just came back for a test run, first I just peddled it around the block, a couple of times, then I fired it up and went for a major burn on the ice and WOW !! THEY WORK !! also checked the tire, and they are still in there. They say that u don't need glue with installation, but of coarse I screwed them in with rubber cement anyway. The Nokian I had on the back was good but ..... Nokians do not even come close to the Psycho studded with MAXI GRIP. Im real glad that I spent the money and did the work these studs cost me a dollar each and I stuck 230 of them in the tire.
I have the wrk pics on how I prepped the inside in the wheel tire section of this forum .
Ive been at this forum for 7 years and I have full p[ics of my winter bike on one of your threads that I replied to , called non euro/American where you have all the Japanese bikes.
