Did you get the throttle cable with it? That carburetor, same as the RT, requires a special cable. The free length is longer than the CNS or NT cable. They are a little tricky if you've never done one but essentially the concept is the same as other carbs. The soldered ferrel slides into a notch and you have to fight the spring to assemble the cap onto the body and secure it with the two screws.

You can exchange the angled adjuster for the short one off a stock carb and use the original cable without cutting the sheathing!
