This is my first bike,I bought the engine kit at a yard sale-$50 I've put it on a $40 used mountain bike-6sp.So far it's been a gas to ride, and dependable.Knock on wood!I believe she's 4 cycling at midrange. It clears up at full throttle or when I'm climbing a hill.Just kind of annoying. All I know about this engine is-80cc-NTcarb and it was bought on e-bay from "boygofast".Can someone point me the right direction where or what to look for? Thanks irefin

Try moving the e-clip to the next notch up on the needle, the top notch is the leanest. The needle position controls mid range, also a high flow air filter will help stop four stroking.

Thanks,I moved clip up to top notch, changed plug wire, spark plug. Not much improvement. Then I removed the fome filter, big change. She seems more snappy and pulls harder and smoother.

Thanks Greg58.

I wasn't even looking for this answer. But my bike 4 strokes in the lower rpm ranges. It hasn't bothered me too much. But stopping it would be nice.

I'll look into air-flow.
