To the newb and the classic biker-

Remember our motorized bicycles are just that- BICYCLES.

I have read a few things lately pertaining to bike maintenance, or lack of it.

Bicycles were not really made to be run at 25-30 mph on all surfaces with power (engine power) to the back wheel. Not to mention the extra weight the bike carries in the form of engine kit and middle age spread.

Check all the moving bits OFTEN. Get to know all the parts of your bike intimately so you can spot trouble and or maintenace issues before they dump you on your head, or leave you holding the bags outside the bank.

Thanks for listening,

Joe

Good point,

I might add if allowed.

If something feels a little wrong, fix it or it will be something very wrong very soon.
