Howdy--just finished my first build on an old Huffy "Durilite" mountain bike, real happy with the performance. It is a very liteweight frame and the front fork now looked pretty fragile for the task.
What are the chances of finding a salvage or later heavy duty fork that will fit the same Huffy head and bearings?? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated !---Regards--JBP

Worksman has a 1" steerer but takes a special headset. You can fit 1" and 1&1/8" forks on Worksman w/ the right headset for each. For the Huffy 1" steerer and 1" headset. You need to measure the length of your steerer tube and make sure that its long enough and that there are enough threads to tension the bearing and cut off any excess length.
