Can't find out what info I need without actually buying a G4. What kind of bearing does it use for the larger cog pulley? Is it just a brass sleeve, roller bearing or ball bearing?

And would it be possible to remove the pulley from the stock shaft and use a longer 5/8 rod?

Planning on having a custom made 5/8 rod that passes through the stock G4 bearing.

The last batch of 4G drives from bicycle-engines.com all used a pair of #6202 sealed cartridge bearings. There have been some 2010 4G Drives available in this country (Spookey Tooth was selling them prior to their closing up shop) that came with CSX15 Cartridge bearings (these are the "One Way Bearings") You might find the Grubee Inc. website helpful http://grubeeinc.com/
click on: to continue, total products, 4-cycle engine kits, then 4G T-Belt Drive and also the 4G Service Parts Alot of goog information and photos here but be aware Just because Grubee shows the parts does not mean that bicycle-engines will be bringing everything into this country?
