The last leaf blower lasted a whole 2 years and it had a Tanaka in it. POS.

The new leaf blower is a 4 stroke;

It starts a lot easier and runs a lot smoother. And as you see, it blows just fine.

Did my work today, even went up on the roof and blew out the gutters. Now it's time to drink - :)

Don't know and don't care. Threw it inna trash and bought a new one.

I was using either Opti 2 at 70:1 or Tanaka oil at 50:1. Fresh gas too.

These things are just so sensitive to a little fouling on the plug or a little carbon in the muffler or a little dirt in the air cleaner. And I really mean a little. A 4 stroke would never have a problem with this minor crap that will cause you to pull your arm out of it's socket trying to start a deuce. Especially with how lean they have to be set to run under CARB restrictions.

Four strokes from now on. I really like that they are available now for small equipment.

When I want (or need) to get something done I don't want to have to trouble shoot the motor first. And it's not like I use it a lot either I blow out the gutters about 3 or 4 times a year and make up 2 or 3 leaf piles.

We'll see how this one compares. Who knows maybe I'll post again in 2 years that small 4 strokes suck - :)
