ok so peeps have been toiling around in some of the electronics threads. and i have found some diagrams and such for various items, such as:
CDI boxes that allow use of any old coil you have laying around
CDI boxes with a fixed timing retard built in
CDI boxes similar to the Jaguar
6v rectifier for white wire applications (will keep batteries topped off and run lights
12v rectifiers for use with the 12v mini-generator
heres the thing, im not doing this to make money, im doing it to provide decent aftermarket part/ stock alternatives with an equally decent price, as well as help others out who arent so technically oriented but still want to break away from crappy stock parts.
im sorry but asking someone to pay 75 bucks for an aftermarket CDI is rediculous. im thinking somewhere in the range of 30-40 bucks for the Jag-like model.
if anyone is interested in some of these pls let me know. right now all im making is the 6v rectifier and the Basic CDI without timing adjustment.
