So I have been commuting to work for over a month now on my bike and would love to get into a 2 wheel motorized recumbent. Problem is my budget is only about $600 total (motor and bike) LMK if you hear of anything

I have looked into building my own recumbent, but I am so tight on time I do not think I can make it happen... anyways we shall see.

.xx.

just a thought here, was thinking of keeping my current bike as a back up, but could always trade it for a recumbent... pics of my current ride in an album on my profile page (dual supension mongoose w a Staton Friction Drive)

My SWB diy bent was a quick easy build, if you already have a motored bike. You can leave most of your bike intact, just build a modified front fork and handle bars for it and a seat. Best part is if you don't like it, it is easy to switch back to your original bike. My entire build just took a donor 20 inch bike and an extra fork.
