Been told that in PR there is lots of places to rent a MB. I wonder if tourist have been getting injured and this may be one of the reasons behind this?

I think they (political types) just want to get the registation money for another motorcycle & make the guy conform to a higher vehicle code requirements...prolly just like here.

It seems odd that MB'ers are attacked so viciously (major fines) for side stepping a few little laws....I think the system thinks we are trying to pull a "fast one" & takes it a bit personal.

Another instance of big buisness influance on our public laws? It is in the interest of Auto,Motocycle,Scooter & Moped manufactures to make this "do-it yourself" moteredbike thing as difficult or illeagle as possible.
Whatever the reason, it sucks......

Electric bikes are protected by US federal law, so they shouldn't be able to ban them.
