Well let's see now. After you blow it up, this is the most common time. But then again when mine let go it was the bottom rod bearing, the piston&rings, the jug had racing strips inside of it, the crank bearings were something to be desired . So I quickly came to the conclusion that it was easier to start over with a new motor . Here's the way it went down.
Blew it up on Thursday , order my bottomend & topend on Friday, got my shipments on Monday, back rolling on Tuesday. brnot

I pretty much agree with HD...
Of course some things are worth repairing, yet as far as crank problems, I would just run it until it blows and replace it with a complete engine.
That will be cheaper than most repairs, and leave you with many spare parts.
...which, unfortunately, will probably be needed... lol

I agree. With complete engines available for $80-90 bucks, it makes more sense to replace rather than repair.
