Engine sprockets T8F or a 25H

Looking at a in frame 2 cycle, not quite like the HT for a trike. Looking at two different models. One has a T8F chain sprocket and the other has a 25H chain sprocket. Since I'm not familiar with either, what are your recommendations and why?

First pic, engine has gearbox, so you can drive a 44 tooth sprocket.
Second one, no gearbox, so sprocket would have to be HUGE, like a sheave on a Whizzer, like 20 inches in diameter.

That's what I was thinking also. Looks like the engine with the gearbox...figured...more expensive of the two. :>)
