I have spoken to a lot of people who have cruisers and mountain bikes with 29" wheels and they rave about how easily they roll at cruising speed. None of these folks motorized theirs, but I'm a long guy and I need the extra frame size 29 inchers provide.
If you have any experience with doing this I would like to know what is involved. Presumably it will involve a new bigger wheel sprocket and some kind of spacer to clear the spokes and then a slightly longer chain. I really do need the extra frame length, so I will appreciate all suggestions. - Hannibal
