Hello, first post here, done a few days of reading here, very informative site, and a great read. I've never fixed one of these bicycles before, my piston seized on me, removed the top bolts, slid off the boot, score marks were visible coming in from the intake of the carb, the small metal pin on the primer somehow broke off, the lillt plunger went flying ( i assume) and the small pin material got into the piston chamber. A small bearing rolled out as i was pilling the boot off of the piston. The piston had sqaushed and burned materail on the head, scars down the side. The rest of the assembly appears fine. I'll clean it out. How to i disconnect the piston from the arm?

Thank you for your kind attention.
