Plan to build my own motorized bicycle and was just wondering if i could throat a jackshaft kit sold by SBP on a bike with out a motor and use it as a regular bike untill i had a motor.

I think you might be better off if you waited until you have the engine kit, & install it all at the same time.
Those shifter kits are kinda complicated to install correctly, & should be assembled in the exact order that the instructions say so. ;)

Love your felt that you have on craigslist right now, modeling my first build after that

Jackshaft
5, maybe 8 speed hub
Rear disc brake

Just going to use a cruiser type bike, maybe 3G/Electra

While i have your time, could i trouble you on what would be the best engine bank for buck wise? im not skimping out on any parts but i was wondering where to buy some high end 2 stroke motors.
