I have an EV Warrior electric bike that I would like to convert to a Gas friction drive using the rear wheel setup.
I have looked at many configurations and the one that seems the most logical for a simple conversion is what I have found on the Stanton Website.
However, their engines are mounted on the side of the rear wheel and not over the top of it.
This not only looks awkward, but having the weight of the engine off to the side of the bike seems like a weight distribution problem.
Am I assuming wrong?
Are there any installations that put the engine over the top of the rear wheel?
Also, need your suggestions on what make and size 2 stroke engine to buy and the best dealers for a kit.
