I need to mount a sprocket to my 32 spoke 26" mountain bike wheel. I placed the sprocket on the wheel and rotated it trying to get it lined up to where you can't see the spokes through the 9 holes and it was impossible. The best I could do is get six out of the nine with no spokes in the way. I should also mention the three holes with spokes showing were all in a row.
Is there some way I can make this work? I can't find any other options, Jim no longer sells "one off's" anymore and it isn't a disk brake type hub, so that's out too. It is hard to find mountain bike rims that are double walled and 36 spoke, they are always 32 spoke. I want to find a way to make the wheels I have work if possible. Any ideas?
