Anybody on here have experience with any of the 'vintage' style leather helmets or goggles that are available on Ebay? Im going to be using my BTR tribute bike in California soon, and I know the helmet laws are strict, so why not use something that looks old. Many of the old BTR photos ive seen, it looks almost like a pilot's helmet of the same era, or maybe even a footballer helmet? The one's available on ebay are DOT approved in some cases. Any body ordered these? what did you think?

The helmets you and Mcbob posted are probably the closest look you'll get while still being dot approved, (recruited in california). If you are looking for other vintage style but not period correct you might check out the Nolan m20 which is sort of a fighter pilot style. HCI, and Momo both make some in this style too.
