Hey all,

Got the bike done and have been having a lot of carb problems causing the bike to run super rich. Well I cleaned out the carb, have been running it for a week then POP!.

I'm using the Dax XC50S engine. Was running full throttle when it happened. It sounds like a tick in the engine but the bike will still Idle but won't run beyond that, so I don't think I broke the rod.

What do you guys think? Is it the sleeve? If so how the **** do I fix it? :)

The slide looks good and the throttle works fine. The main symptom is a fairly loud persistent engine noise when it runs - something is definately. They engine will idle but won't rev.

sounds like you broke something ?, you will probably have to take the motor apart to fix it ?, i think it is made by HS a copy of a Honda , maybe someone will chime in with more experience with this engine that can lead you in the right direction to fix it .

i would prob start by taking it apart it's pretty easy.
Before you pull the engine apart.

First take the valve cover off the top of the motor and
check the valve clearances and make sure the valves are
opening and closing OK

Try listening to the motor with a screw driver to your ear
to isolate the noise.

Also drain the oil and see if any parts come out....the
oil slinger can break off.

I see from reading your previous posts that you are you using
the crappy chain gearbox.

Check the centrifugal clutch too as the noise may be
coming from it.
Broken spring? etc.

Did you figure out what the problem was?
Would that S stand for Super Titan?

Dax says that he has never had one apart which is why he
doesn't know for sure how the Super Titan makes 1/2 hp more
than the regular rebadged Titan / Huasheng.

Could you post up some pics if you pull the motor apart?
