Ok so it's not over yet as I was typing that last thread I received an email with some info from the local yahmaha dealer and I don't need a motorcycle endorsement. Looks like I will be calling the DMV. I will keep you all posted!

20 minutes later I have decided to passon the trade i made it official and told the getlman i was passing for sure. For what it will cost for a title I can motorize another one of my bikes!
I finally navigated the FL DMV web site. In florida they are titled as a motorcycle. Although you don't need a motorcycle indorsement on your DL if it's 50cc or smaller. It however does need a title and to be registered to make it legal to ride. It would cost at least $150 to get a title for it and up to a year to abtain the title through the FL DMV. I rather stick that money into another gas motor kit or another battery and solar pannel trickle charger for the electric bike.
Ya it had it broke down to a a title search, attempted to contact last registered owner, issuing a new title and a few other things. Just not worth the time, hastle or money.
