First Build

Hey guys, I thought I'd share some pics of my first build. I got this Trek Classic on clearance after ordering a 66cc china. I'm in the process of working out some bugs now. I've made a new chain tensioner and I'm getting a Manic Mechanic adapter and sprocket. The stock tensioner took a dive into the spokes (under pedal power, thank goodness) on the first run. No wheel damage but that bracket's going in the scrapper. I put the tank on the rack because I plan to make a better looking one to mount behind the seat anyway. What do you think so far?

I don't know yet. I decided I'm not running this thing again until I get the rear sprocket buttoned down too. I'm not taking any chances. I'm getting a hub adapter and sprocket from Manic Mechanic.
