How to clean burnt plastic from exhaust pipe?

Hey everybody,

I recently pulled into my garage after a ride on my motorized bike and leaned up the bike against a black trash bag and walked away and came back a few minutes later and the now i have a bunch of black stuff stuck to my AGK header on my Huasheng 49cc 4 Stroke. Im really pissed off about this. Any advice on how to get it off?

I know that oven cleaner gets burnt boot sole and oil stains off of exhaust pipes on Harleys, so I bet it will take plastic off of your pipe too.

Wear rubber gloves and use eye protection! Use EasyOff brand on a COLD pipe. Carefully cover anything that might get overspray on it as the oven cleaner is nasty harsh. Let it sit for a few minutes and wash it off really good with soap and cold water.
