Default Aluminum Gas Tanks by CCC

I am always looking for an easy way to make gas tanks since I just dread making them. Here are a couple that started as square and round tubing. The rest of the tank will be made out of sheet...

it helps making a cardboard template first. transfer the pattern on to the sheet and cut.

I was considering this with my build. it is a good use of unused space. plus you had the basic frame of the tank already there.

I love the reverse curve on the backstays.

there was that copper pasta container posted on here, which is also very neat.

Yes cardboard is good and I do use my share of it but wood works real good too.

Are you into hammering rounded sides?
