rohmell Active Member Jun 2, 2010 1,531 6 38 New York Apr 10, 2011 #2 If you tightened the clamp that holds the carb to the manifold too much, it deforms the shape of the bore slightly. Try loosening the clamp and see if the slide moves freely.
