Yeah i think that would be the way to go, instant power, that would be so much fun on the bmx track, no waiting for the engine to wind up. Youd hit the berm accelerate and be clearing those triples before youd know it and the weight of the batteries could be evenly distributed for a very sweet feeling ride.

Awww Barely you had to mention that didn't you. Thank heavens I'm 4 builds and $3,000 behind or I'd be making phone calls.

Harry, LifePo4 batteries aren't that heavy and if you get enough of them you could be out there for a while beating the woods. I'd say you should have 48V hubs and batteries.

Look up cell-man.com. He sells very nice Mac hub motors and 123 LifePo4 batteries at a reasonable rate. He's an English chap working out of Hong Kong. High ratings on the ebike site.
