I would bet my paycheck that no one on this planet has motorized a SlingShot mountain bike and I'm not talking about Photoshop or a rack mount.

This was one of my old race bikes, Slingshot was one of our sponsors that year and they are a very unique and great handling bike off-road.

How might you motorize it?

That very thin pole is actually a cable and yes it is attached to a spring up near the head tube. Then if you look really close you'll notice that the top tube is attached to a flexible aerospace fabric sandwich and then welded to the seat tube. The whole frame flexes so to speak to give it a unique type of suspension.

Would make an awesome candidate for a top tube, suspended scooter or Morini engine....

With a scooter/GY6 engine, the CVT could wrap around the seat tube. Would have to jury rig a sprocket and the drive shaft would take some 'figuring. Then drive chain length... (some kind of "righting strut"?)

Be a really cool build. Has mounts on top too.

Dunno but looking forward to seeing what ya come up with Scotto.
