Hi, my name's josh and I'm new to the Motorized Bicycle Engine Kit Forum. One of my hobbies is to make lawnmowers go faster than they should ever go. But anyways I'm going to buy my first kit here soon, and I was just wondering where I should buy it. I'm looking to buy a 66cc/80cc kit.

Two good outfits which come well recommended are Pirate Cycles and Dax. I'd be cautious with ebay sellers and bottom line prices. You're fine if all goes well, but if you need customer service or the engine is a dud, go with someone who will answer the phone and values his reputation.

I am new also and have about 35 miles on a 66cc gasbike kit with the High perf CNS carb. I got the kit for my 13 year old, but I do enjoy riding it also. Hills with me on it (250lbs) is not a problem, would strongly recommend getting the cns carb for only $30.00 more. The carb is a $65.00 after thought if not bought with kit. Good luck

Buy a sprocket adapter that fits your bike.

If I knew then what I know now , I would have got one before my engine kit arrived.
