A guy called me out of the blue (the usual) and said he is casting up a bunch of reed valve intake assemblies that incorporate a good commercial reed valve. Said he's made some/a proto before:confused: and only slightly longer than stock . I told him if he sends us a sample, we try it and like it, we'll be happy to be his sales outlet. As usual, I told him to drop me an email so I have a record of the contact, etc.......no email yet :confused:. I was kind of excited. Still waiting.

I hafta admit, i stopped building MB's for a while, and dabbled into Italian mopeds. I have morini mo1 and I put a big bore kit wit reeds and it made a HUGE difference. Reeds make a big difference I have had old dirt bikes without them and they alwayz have hella bog down low... I think that a viable reed valve bolt on would be one of the biggest upgrades for these motor.
