Magneto-coil question

I have 2.9 ohms on the white wire to ground and no continuity on the blue wire to ground. Is this coil bad?
No spark ....bike wont run

You most definitely should get a reading between the blue wire and ground.
In a pinch, you could use the white wire going to the CDI's blue wire, and run it that way. Might be harder to start due to the lower output voltage from the white wire.

I believe there should be around 300 ohms resistance, I have a new one coming. I didn’t know the white wire would work ( in a pinch ) but will remember for next time. Do you know if there is a better one out there? Would it be worth it to have it rewound professionally?
