I'll take #32 again, thx.
Sweet, the track looks like alot of fun and I'm looking forward to this race
Great, glad that you are racing again. The track at Willow Springs was fun
but the Grange track is going to be a blast to ride on.
All the facilities at Grange are first class, tie downs for easy ups,
sheltered spectator bleachers, air conditioned tower and there is
even a scale so you can weigh your bike! LOL

Almost everyone gets to keep their number from last race so you are #32.

I'm in! #19 briggsbiker 5hp briggs
Sorry but #19 is taken by my buddy flexman who rode a
9.2hp Boxer Morini at Willow Springs. I hope flex brings his
50 cc 4 stroke Q Matic next time too.

I have to update the racer # list with all the people who
signed up on the last race day on June 18th at Willow Springs.
It's a lot of time organizing a race......

Please pick another number.

I met you at the Adams to Stanton car show ride and you will
have a lot of fun on your cool Briggs bike in the new mid range
class. Your Briggs sounds great with that fishtail muffler.

PS: The only low numbers currently available are;

#26 I think the 26incher moved to Hawaii so it's available.

are you starting a carpool thread. I'll take 27 if I can get a ride from tucson.
Hey, sorry # 27 is taken.
Please pick another # when I get the list updated.
Also please state what motor you are using so I know
what class you are entering in.

You can enter in more than one class with 2 bikes for
only $10 extra. Both bikes use the same number.

I was planning on starting a car pool thread again for this
Oct 22nd race. Do you think at 86 days to go it's too early
to start the thread?

I will be accepting pre-payment at about 60 days to go.
Paying on Oct 22nd at the race track will be $10 extra
this time.
Thanks.

I really wanna see Bairdco win at this one too!

What will you be riding?

I am caught up in charity work. So I will just have to see the news here. lol.

Willow was great. I'm getting excited for the race at the Grange. Who's the #1 plate reserved for?
Seeing that the #1 plate was reserved for the Death Race winner to use at Willow, and since you won Willow - then I would expect that the #1 plate should go to you. Gotta defend the #1 plate

I put reserved on it today so some new guy wouldn't claim #1 or #4.
I think #4 is reserved for scotto-'s friend Pat if he wants it.

I was planning to give the #1 to PaulD the winner of the Death Race
but wasn't sure that he even wanted it or any winner would and he
didn't show up at Willow Springs so no tradition was established.

I was thinking about giving it to you as you won the "Trophy Dash"
which has been renamed to "The Ultimate Race" but it really wasn't
a high priority........I will bring up the issue at the next SoCal Motor
Bicycle Racing board meeting
and let you know what we decide, OK?

85 days to go to Race Day.

Hey Dave
There are all kinds of plans that have been going on for quite a
while behind the scenes for new events and other developments
for the new Motorsport of Motor Bicycle Racing in Southern
California.
The website SoCalMotorBicycleRacing.com is going to be our new
home when I get some time.

There is a board that has been informally advising on the direction
the Motorsport is taking since way before the Willow Springs race.

The current SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing board members are:
agk
BigBoy
msrfan
Samford&Son
Strotter
SoSauty (eBike advisor)

Easy Rider has given some invaluable advice from his racing
experience and I am hoping that he has the time to be on the
board too.

There are some very exciting plans for new events but it takes a
lot of time to get all the required approvals to finalize them.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.........let's get it straight, correct, and no mistakes here.
I won the China 2 stroke
And, I won the Trophy Dash 'ultimate race'
1 bike and 1 racer, won 2 different finals

Doesn't someone have to show up to a race to defend their win, #1 plate?

If the trophy dash, 'ultimate race' is not a priority why bother having it?

LOL, Yes you won and congratulations for 2 well deserved
victories. More than a few riders learned the hard lesson
that you have to finish to win!

What is your hurry? You have 86 days to make up a #1 plate
before the next race. lol
Please read carefully, I never said that you weren't getting the
# 1 plate, just that the above named board would make a decision
soon.
I wouldn't want anyone to think that I was running some kind
of evil dictatorship.....LOL

I am really pleased that magrider and Pablo have agreed to be
on the SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing board.
I had a long conversation with magrider about some basic rules
for the next race.
Still have a few things to work out but we will be announcing them
soon so you know what guidelines to build your race bikes to.

The current SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing board members are:
agk
BigBoy
magrider
MotorBicycleRacing
msrfan
Pablo
Samford&Son
Strotter
SoSauty (eBike advisor)

Let it be noted that bairdco is not a member just so there
is no confusion.

We are continuing in the direction that any rules will be simple
and mainly to keep racing fun, affordable and safe.

Rules will only be instituted as needed.

There will be no association fees charged to race at any
SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing event.

no, i'm not a member. thanks for clearing that up.

it's a lot less hassle to just build a bike and race it, instead of butting heads over our different opinions, so that's my plan.

i hope my involvement in any other racing orginizations won't affect my ability to race in yours. my intention is to compete on the track, not on the forum, not on the phone, and not in anything else.

i just wanna race and see it progress in a positive way.
