Got my parts today and got the GenV buttoned back up with the Fred head.
I did have to do a little smoothing on the lip of the transfer where the ring snagged, but it was very minor. Nice and silky smooth again with the new slug and rings. Looks great too!
I'll be slapping it back into the Pig as soon as I get time what with all the RV work.
Going to use current Pig motor (stocker) for the OCC for now so I can get on the jackshaft setup. Installed newer version stock angle head with a squish band of sorts machined into the chamber, but I doubt it is any better. Time will tell.
I can't wait to see how the already very smooth and quiet GenV acts with the new head and ignition setup!
