66cc Ozark Cruisers custom pk80 review

This engine was built by Steve Duncan of Ozark Cruisers. It's based on the 66cc cheez pk80 with 40mm crank. I think it took exactly a week to get here from order date to arrival on my front porch. The kit and engine were packaged great and nothing was damaged during shipping. I was excited to get the new engine installed on the bicycle and did a poor job of documenting the progress. This next bit of information was taken directly from Steve's website.

True PK80 Engine Kit – Modified by Ozark Cruisers
40mm Stroke with a tight squish band
Balanced crank / High RPM bearings
Lightweight “No Mark” connecting rod
Malossi caged wrist bearing
Type “A” Polished and modified piston
10mm Grunion Pin with solid locks
Genuine “Fred Head” – Made in America
Case Matched and Decked – Modified Cylinder
32mm Intake Port – Enlarge / Shaped / Roughed Up
42mm Exhaust Port – Enlarged / Shaped / Polished
8mm Cylinder Head Studs – Hardened Bolts
6mm Front Mounting Bolts – Hardened Bolts
40mm Front Mounting Boss – Comes with adapter hardware
8.8 Black Bolt Upgrade throughout the engine
NT Speed Carburetor with throttle cable
High strength 415H roller chain w/ master link.
4 point chain tensioner with quality bolts, nuts, locks

The engine pictured on the website has a Dellorto SHA carb attached to a billet intake manifold. I want to point out that is not the carb that ships with the kit. You will receive an NT speed carb mounted to the standard aluminum intake. This is the smoothest, most powerful motorbike engine I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I'm currently running the SHA clone carb with a size 66 jet, Mzmiami dirt bike pipe, and Screaming Roo magneto and CDI. The bike has excellent torque and top speed feels good.

More pictures to come, meanwhile here is a link to Steve's website.
