Hi everyone. I'm really green when it comes to getting this engine mounted. My latest problem is that the chain is either too short or too long. I'm trying to find a 1/2 link for a heavy duty 415 chain, but not really having any luck. Any thoughts out there where I may find one.

hi peter and welcome to the forum. my luck with the half links was not very good. i strongly suggest adjusting with the tensioner. great to have you with us

What kind of bike are you using?

Here is a 415 half link.

Thanks so much Paul. I did try adjusting the tensioner, but it the chain was still so loose it kept coming off. So I remove a couple of links and now it's too tight and keeps coming off. I think what I might do is try to move the whole motor back about 1/2".
