I've been looking for a transmission for for my 4 stroke. I been trying to get a 4g with 100t pulley but I can't seem to find any seller with them in stock.

go to gasbike.net and look in 4 stroke parts. search some more theres alot out there.

Yeah it's on their website but when you go " add to cart" and you go to check out it says in small red letter below the item name
"warning 0 out 100 items left in stock"

I have the Dax Titan 4 stroke, which is just a hs 4 stroke
They do have the 5/8 shaft right?
Also besides the bearing issue, are they good transmissions?

The Dax Titan has the clutch built into the side of the motor and does
NOT have a 5/8" output shaft.
It has the so called tapered shaft.
The Dax Titan will not work with the Grubee 4 G that Bicycle-engines.com
sells and it won't work with a Q Matic without an adapter.
I don't know if anyone is still selling the Grubee 4G gearbox that works
with a Titan. Bicycle- engines used to sell them.
The only choices you would have then are some low quality pocket bike
chain gearboxes.

I'm stuck with only one type of tranny... And even those are only 3:1 reduction, which means I have to get a new giagountour sprocket in the back.
And the problem is that my 36t sprocket is stuck on my hd hub, can't get it loose.... Figured that out when I had to replace a spoke and it was in the way.

I guess you got the tapered shaft?
There is a single and double chain gearbox available.
Hey, maybe Gasbike has some of the 5:1 Grubee 4G gearboxes left
that fit your Titan?
The pic of the gearbox on most dealers website may not actually
represent what they are selling. You gotta call but that is a crap
shoot too.

I gave them a call,but the lady said their "expert" is not gonna be in till Monday...darn it.
I'll put an add up on the swap and shop.
If I get the 3:1 I'll be burning up clutches and stuck with crappy tranny lol

i got a used g4 that is for the taper shaft that has less than 100 miles on it and like new clutch. i got ran of the road by a road hog truck that passed me and gave me no room. i crack my block when the exhust hit the curb . the tranny servived fine the cover broke out the bottom bolt hole. just move the bracket and redrill the cover. i m me.
