What's up guys
I just finished and ran my new 80cc kit I put on my old 83 Bridgestone Spica road bike. It moves! This was my first build with little experience in bicycle or 2-cycle mechanics, so it was a challenge to say the least.
I plan to add a better intake, tensioner, 1 gal tank, and 27x 1 3/8 tires (or as wide as I can go). Who know's what else down the line

I've done some homework, so I'm aware of some of the problems with using road bikes, but I'm all ears to any suggestions or questions you guys might have.

good job. I love those old steel frames. Keep an eye on those skinny wheels though. I had a kit on a road bike and the torque completely shredded the spokes.

I'm worried about the tensioner slipping into the spokes too. I might just bend it to align better and secure it through the frame. I've been searching around for some tensioner ideas and can't seem to find much that are ideal for road bikes.
Any suggestions?
