Discovered this forum today, great site. This is just what I was looking for.
Wife bought me an OP Roller cruiser at X Mart last week for my birthday. I love this bike, great looks, rides like a dream and very light due to the aluminum frame.
Lots & lots to read up on here as I plan to motorize this bike over the winter but will keep it stock and just ride it daily for the rest of the year. I want to add a springer front end to it but am looking for something different, not the usual "Me too" Schwinn type. In the end I'll likely forge my own styled after those often seen on Triumph bobber motorcycles, I've been blacksmithing for about five years and this would be quite simple to do actually. Also am kicking around ideas for a gas tank, maybe will go with an antique quart cone top beer can. Who knows, I'll come up with something. Perhaps no tank at all, just do something to create a chamber in the frame and run it like that.
