That last pic looks like you picked up the bottom bolt on the engine with a nice frame brace, Is that true? And what kind of difference did it make? Have fun, Dave
PS: That bike looks like one of the Russian racers, have you seen them.

It helps that Team BoXer has a full machine shop with TIG welders. The bottom of the engine mount was shaved, retapped and helicoiled. Dean installed flat tabs on the frame and bolted it up that way. Its amazing the things he builds.

I have a lot of trouble with the vibration on these little engines. I have removed the crank and checked them for balance, just on a jig. The crank is heavy with extra weight added to the flywheel sides. The extra weights are removable and are hollow in the area near the pin, this is how they get any balance. The hollow spots are cast in so, I fear it is not accurate. It would be fun to see if there is another crank that would fit, A Hodaka? I am curious, did the extra motor mount help? Have fun, Dave

Pipelyne/BoXer has been making pipes for decades and Dean does nothing half fast. The pipe is as close to the frame without it hitting the frame or your leg.

Pretty simple really, since the swing arm pivot is close to the output sprocket on the engine, the chain won't change length as the swing arm moves.

The other option is to use the jackshaft kit to move your drive to the cranks so a more traditional frame setup is possible. Jackshaft kit is not in the attached photo.

Yeah... It will work great; but by doing that, aren't you just turning it into a motorcycle?
The only thing that gets us off the hook with the cops every time we ride, is the fact that we have to pedal them like a bicycle to get going!

Take away the pedals and now you have to have a M1 license & a helmet to ride it.

All we did was raised the swing arm pivit close to the countershaft sprocket,your pedals still can be used without any mod . also we were able to adjust the shock mount to keep the axel location in the stock place.Adding a jackshaft would just be complicating things.
