So, I picked up a bike frame and an engine today that I think I'm gonna use for my next build. I don't know the make of the bike, and the engine is a 2-stroke Clinton lawn mower engine. I think I'm gonna use a Whizzer tank that I had laying around for this bike.

More like an old Panther. Dont think its a Worksman. Thats a welded frame not braised. Good looking and certanly strong enough. Good score!

You mean the bend at the bottom? Sorry, I don't get what part you're talking about, I'm a bit slow... :D
No worries, Look at the bike directly from the side. Look at the headtube and note the angle. If you draw an imaginary line down thru the headtube from the handlebars toward the fork, then extend it beyond the headtube, the top part of the fork should be in line with the imaginary line.

Looks like your bike hit a curb real hard at one point and bent the fork blades back. Dangerous.
