Wider intake looks promising... These motors seem to be lacking in the port areas. I heard somewhere that it won't work, but they failed to mention why.

Can it be done? Has anyone done it? If it can't be done, why not?

i think CR machine said he uses rat top ends on the motors he sells. i sold turkman a SR motor and he said the deck is too high and the piston hits the head when it warms up. not a good thing at all.

Hmmm... Maybe shim up the cylinder or head a bit with a thicker or an additional gasket. gasbike.net lists two head gaskets, one for the sr and one for the normal ht but they don't mention the difference between the two.
