Hi littletinman. Well I have not done a temp check with a gauge, but after a hard drive, the engine feels cooler to the feel. And now, this "prototype" head has been run for about a month, and I have already noticed a huge improvement with cylinder life. I used to see scratches in my cylinders within days. Now, I notice the parts seem nice and oily and free of scuffing when I disassemble.
