I’ve got 2 bikes 1 of which is about 2 years old now with around 3000 miles on it. Engine was from bike berry. Had to replace master link, cdi, and went through 1 rear wheel. Engine has slightly less power than say 1000 miles ago but it still runs right up to 30mph and idles fine.

The other bike has 700-800 miles on it with no failures yet.... That engine is an eBay engine from unknown origin. Inspected cylinder wall and looks really healthy so far.

I have an Ebay sky star at 840 miles within 3 weeks and had to eliminate the master link after chain popped 5 times and now trying to figure out why my motor locked up and snapped a chain link. I'm headed to an ATV shop to try and buy a spring loaded tensioner with a gear not another roller. I tried taking out the sparkplug and turning crank normal direction and wouldn't budge, my brothers thumb was on the plug hole and when I turned the crank backwards it blew his thumb away hard, then it started up right away but soon as I gave it gas it gave so much power it pulled the chain right off the back sprocket can a clogged baffle create a compression lock

Your story has become very common here. I would NEVER buy Ebay china girl. Grubee SuperRat 69cc, Dax F80 69cc, Zeda 69cc "Was PK80" In that order.
