I built a Pacific Coast Chopper with a 'PowerKingShop' motor out of BC (ebay) over the winter. It's still hard to start, but once it's going ...WOW...
I extended the handlebars and seat 8" (it's a low bike and I'm a tall guy) so I can actually pedal the thing, especially to start it. Spring is sorta here so I'm planning my routes in this very bike-unfriendly city. No motors on the bike paths, at least not running anyways...
We have freeways in this city that are like rivers, no crossing them without a bridge and the car bridges typically have no sidewalk. Google plans a walking route that is 30 miles; driving route is 5.
