Nope. My leg is safe! (I checked clearance this time DURING the fabrication) It's tucked close enough not to need a heat shield this time.
Sounds great too! This pipe is thicker and does not have that tinny sound I hate so much.

Messed around downtown today. First REAL distance on The Pig II and she ran great!
The pipe works sweet. All I need now is slightly higher bars and a 36 tooth gear.
LOVE this frame! It was a pain to find but totally worth it.

Started messing around again today.
Pulled the head to check the bore after break in...looking good! No cylinder scores and very little carbon.

Then I got to thinking all the black on the bike was kinda boring.

Starting to look as good as she runs!

Got a nice disc rim from scrounging too!
Looks like it will work perfectly with my scooter caliper and mounting plate to add disc to the front of The PigII easy as pie.
The bracket lines up right on the fork leg and will be super easy to install.
The only issue is the disc rubbing the inside of the fork leg, but it looks like a shim on one side of the axle might fix it.
I love free stuff!
